Our Products

Our Story

Little Woodshop, located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, specializes in handcrafted wooden furniture and toys designed for children. Founded out of a passion for woodworking and a love for creating for our own children, this growing small business caters to the unique needs of kids’ rooms and play spaces.

Parents choose the Little Woodshop for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety and sustainability. With a diverse range of products that inspire creativity and play, Little Woodshop aims to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for families seeking beautiful and functional children’s furnishings.

Handcrafted

Our products are lovingly handcrafted, meaning they are imperfectly perfect. Keeping this in mind, a visible wooden knot or a paint streak just verifies that we do not trade in mass produced items, but rather pieces that all required hours of skilled and dedicated craftmanship, and knowing that care was put into each piece to sand down every surface and every sharp corner, applying the right amount of paint coats that will provide the best level of quality and durability, and ensuring our products’ quality will be of a standard that you would proudly display and share.

Little ones approved

Most of our items come into existence after creating them first for our own kids. The essence of Little Woodshop started after building a house bed, then cube storage and then a mud kitchen for our little girl, and seeing how much she loved them! For our youngest, a boy, I am already planning lots of car storage and play tools, and cannot wait to share that with him and play together! Our vision at the Little Woodshop is thus, only if its good enough for our little ones, is it good enough to share with you.
